The Seed of Infinity is situated north of the Aerial Cleft, in the approximate center of the continent of Gracia. Like the Seed of Destruction, it is a conquerable stronghold similar to castles and fortresses. Unlike the Seed of Destruction, however, it requires players to accumulate a certain amount of points before all its sub-dungeons become accessible. The points are added or subtracted according to how successful players conquer or defend the stronghold. This is a remotely similar system as with the Stages in opening up Hellbound.
The Seed of Infinity consists of three instanced dungeons that can be entered once a day.
Hall of SufferingA party of 2~9 players between levels 75-82 can enter once per day
There are six rooms; you must kill a Tumor in each room before proceeding to the next room. In the last room, you will see the Raid Boss, the Death Knight Twins Claudecus and Clanicus.
You must defeat both Bosses almost at the same time because if one dies, his twin brother will resurrect him after one minute.
Hall of ErosionA group of 36~45 players between levels 80-85 can enter once per day
The Hall of Erosion is a dungeon set to be in a conquering/defending mode. This means you must not only capture those areas but also fight off the waves of retaliatory attacks that will follow.
It is divided into four main rooms. When conquering, you must attack the Tumors of Eternity in each room until they become Destroyed Tumors; this will summon out the Boss, Kahamenes.
Also note that you must make sure that the Destroyed Tumors in each room stay in Destroyed state. If a Tumor revives, the boss will disappear immediately.
When you have defeated Kahamenes and the dungeon turns to defending mode, the monsters will in turn try to reconquer the Hall of Erosion. Now you must protect the “Unstabilized Seed of Rebirth”. If the monsters should succeed in destroying the Seed of Rebirth, you have lost the whole dungeon to them.
Heart of the StrongholdA group of 36~45 players between levels 75-85 can enter once per day
The Final Boss - Immortal King Ekimus, a minion of Shilen who is endowed with eternal life. He drops either a piece of S80 Dynasty armor or a piece of [S84 Vesper armor].
The Heart is also set to be in a conquering/defending mode. When conquering, groups of players will be scattered to different rooms around the center circle, and only one group can enter the center to fight Ekimus. The other groups not only must defeat the monsters emerging from each room but must also pay attention to the group that's fighting the boss: they can switch with the group in the center by talking to the Tumor in the room. When defending, you must fight emerging NPCs for a certain period of time.
It seems that the Seed of Infinity (like the [Seed of Destruction]) specifically tests the players' ability to work together in unspoken understanding and react flexibly to sudden changes.
When the Seed of Infinity has been conquered, you can enjoy its benefits such as gathering Starstones and Seed Energies or entering special instances. A conquest of the Seed of Infinity will also trigger the conditions for Aerial Hunting Ground Raid Bosses to appear.
Of course, you'll have to fight waves of retailiating monsters in order to continue the occupation.
